Afro Samurai (アフロサムライ) is a Japanese dōjinshi manga series created by Takashi Okazaki, originally featured in the NOU NOU HAU dōjin magazine. It was adapted into a 5-episode anime miniseries directed by Fuminori Kizaki and produced by Gonzo, a Japanese animation studio.

Plot

A samurai seeks revenge for his father and to clain his father's #1 headband, while also fighting through swarms of others who wish to claim the #2 headband that is in his posession.

Afro Samurai: Resurection, was released on DvD on February 3rd, 2009.

plot

Just as Afro was getting tired of all the killing an old face returns to kill him.

Video Game

Follows the same storyline arc of the anime. Some events were changed from the anime.
